2013 :- In Summer 2013, React Native is started as facebook’s Internal Hackathon Project.

2015 :- In January 2015 at React.js con React native had its first public preview later in March 2015, Facebook announced React Native as open-source and available on GitHub.

2016 :- In September 2016, Facebook launched it’s open-source UI toolkit for React Native.

Initially React Native was developed for the iOS application but later it also added the support for Android operating system.
